Parlaci di questo progetto... Com'è nata l'idea?

Gli elementi erano il fondamento della filosofia antica per spiegare attraverso la loro combinazione la creazione della vita. Lavorare direttamente con la materia è un impegno che ti permette di approfondire continuamente la tua conoscenza. Lo scultore nella sua officina assomiglia molto all'alchimista nel suo laboratorio. Nelle mie sculture spesso si contrappongono più elementi reciproci: la giovinezza, il nuovo, il futuro, la vita, le stagioni, il ritorno alle radici, la ciclicità della storia e la morte intesa come passaggio. L'uno è necessario all’altro, in un anello che si ripete senza tempo, l’attimo presente rimane sospeso, come attraversamento e passaggio.

Tell us about this project ... What gave you the idea?

The elements were the foundation of ancient philosophy to explain the creation of life. Working directly with the material is a commitment that allows you to continuously deepen your knowledge. The sculptor in his workshop looks a lot like the alchemist in his laboratory. In my sculptures often oppose each other several elements: the young, the new, the future, life, seasons, the return to the roots, the cyclical nature of history and the death understood as one of the steps. The one is necessary to the other, in a loop that repeats itself timeless, the present moment is suspended, such as crossing and passing.
